I have been visiting Case Study regularly for 1.5 years and am truly in love. The team is extremely friendly, the coffee is always delicious, the food is good, the shop is clean, the atmosphere is fun, and there is a space for anyone (working/studying in a moody back area, meeting with a friend in the sunnier front area, or just grabbing a drink to-go). Compared to other shops in the area, the staff here is never judgmental, always willing to teach/learn, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. They roast their own coffee and are true craftsmen. 10/10 recommend.

Wow .. stopped here as our last stop before we headed home . And this ended up being our favorite coffee shop out of all of the ones we went to in phoenix and Scottsdale ! Smooth espresso notes . The flavor was so wonderful the beans roasted to perfection ! Everyone was so nice ! This space is bigger than it looks too ! Definitely stop by you won’t regret it ! We ordered a honey latte and a flat white ! And then took a vanilla bean latte to go !! I wanted one more for the road

Five stars for coffee and experience. Case Study nails it. Located inside a strip mall, the logo on its storefront draws you inside to a beautifully-designed and quirky space. The baristas are very friendly and clearly are passionate about what they do. You feel their energy in a good way. The coffee menu is bold and memorable. Never have I ever seen a “Brown Sugar and Sage” latte on the menu. I ordered it and I’m so glad I did. It wasn’t overly sage-y, but just enough to make it pop. My wife loved her latter and my six-year-old daughter enjoyed the chocolate milk.

Great place to study! The atmosphere is chill without a loud background music. There’s various seating from comfy couches and armchairs to tables and chairs to long tables. Service is friendly.

EDIT Nov 28: Came back with an out of town guest and decided to give Case Study another try. We were greeted immediately, everyone was so kind. Enjoyed my matcha and bagel. Thank you to the owner as well for initially reaching out when I wrote my first review JULY 26, 2024: Came in today at 11:35 am looking forward to trying Case Study for the first time. Not a lot of people, like three ladies in the lobby working on their laptops. Looks great inside. The woman up front (black top) just ignores you as she makes the drinks (it’s not busy at all). Not a “hello”, not a “welcome in”, not a “I’ll be right with you”. I stood there uncomfortably while pretending to look at the menu as we are just a few feet apart from each other. Another person comes in after me (a man) and she doesn’t greet him either. Terrible. I just walked out.

UPDATE: Upon the owners invite, I returned today and enjoyed a remade Brown Sugar latte, perfect in every way. I also got to enjoy the space for a bit. I appreciate places that want to please their customers and this is one of them. GO and enjoy! Such a cute place with delicious options. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which you wouldn’t always expect from a place with such a hip coffee shop vibe. Not pretentious at all! I tried the Brown Sugar with Sage latte and Avocado Toast. The coffee was good although I didn’t really taste as much sweetness as I had hoped for. The avocado toast was fabulous, great flavor and delicious bread. I do feel it was a little heavy on the avocado but I’d rather have that than not enough. The pickled onions and tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. Great ambiance and music showing the Spotify playlist on this cool board on the wall! I look forward to going back. Even though they were busy they took care of guests in a timely manner and explained/apologized for any delays.

Case Study is a total gem! As soon as I walked in it felt so warm and inviting. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They have all the classic Espresso drinks plus some really creative ones. We have the Vanilla Lavender and one with update 1/6/2024 - They are now open Friday and Saturday nights playing some great beats with coffee and tea infused cocktails and amazing food offerings! We still continually visit Case Study on a regular basis! Bee Pollen. They were both crafted with expertise, perfect flavors and beautiful to look at. The Overnight Oats with blueberries, coconut and slivered almonds was delicious and the Savory Crepe was something to crave! The space is beautiful with the mill work done by the owner himself. Great job to all today and will be back again soon!
